There will come soft rains and the smell of the ground,
And swallows circling with their shimmering sound;
And frogs in the pool singing at night,
And wild plum trees in tremulous white;
Robins will wear their feathery fire,
Whistling their whims on a low fence-wire;
And not one will know of the war, not one
Will care at last when it is done.
Not one would mind, neither bird nor tree,
If mankind perished utterly;
And Spring herself when she woke at dawn
Would scarcely know that we were gone. | |

| I love poetry, who doesnt? It is nice and calming (most of the time. Things with romance makes me go and explode) Who else likes poetry? It is art of words. Absolutly beautiful. | |

I think it is rather good but that is my oppinion. I do prefer writing stories. Much better at that. You try making a poem. | |

| sounds good to me  here's mine, keep in mind i havnt write one within 2 - 3 years  Idle visions of ones mind, suger coat the truth of disclosure. The poisoned mind leaks to remind, of distant lonely indviduals to exposure. Lend me a couple of hands, for I am two as one. Fueling my needs I command, in anger I soon will perish and be gone. Distortion illuminates only to the individual of solitarity, assistance vague it is. A seperate transformation to fairy, your end is near and that is bliss. It is talking about a drunk guy on the floor, wanting help yet he has had too much acohol and is begining to pass out. Near his end, his visions get blurry and his imagination takes over seeing andother person as a fairy. | |

You humans thought that you would win,
and civilise me like the others do.

| Hmm, very good. I suppose it is great, alot better than mine. (Which I actually picked up sub-consiosly as it seems) Very good try making it rhyme. You have a great talent at writing. I on the other hand, have not. Once again, very good. You ever try limmerics? | |

| A poem that I like. It is NOT written by me by the way: THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE - Spoiler:
1.
Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!
"Charge for the guns!" he said:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
2.
"Forward, the Light Brigade!"
Was there a man dismay'd?
Not tho' the soldier knew
Someone had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
3.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
