Future/current careers

Inspired by a covnersation Chat-thread.
Basically, what job do you want when you're older? If you already have one, what? What would your dream job be?

I sorta want to be an actor cos I cannot be an infantryman in the army. I have asma or whatever.

I suppose my dream job would be a scientist and be able to make an alternate reality.

The only thing I can imagine myself doing is writing....become an author, perhaps.
Problem is, you need to work while you are writing the book, since a proper length book takes several months to write, often more.
A dream job might be designer for a game, thinking up the ideas, writing storylines.

I only really recently found out what I want to do.
Think it might be toristism. (not terrorism. My spelling isn't the best with some words)

Tourism?

yep that's right.

That's interesting, study what people see often? See what attracts lots of tourists?

Maybe. Still got a few years more to decide officially.

My dream job is a concept artist whcih im training to be one right now. I love designing games, game levels, game scenes and film designs. this is my goal in life, to be as good or better



actually now I think of it, I'd want to be much better, that picture is aroun 4 times better than my current comp art stage

Animals. My past, preset and future depends on my animal friends.

I care not what it involves, but I must be near creatures that my heart truly loves.

nice, i love creatures and life. In the last 2 years my life has become so understanding and caring for life in every manner. but the more i seem to care for life the more evil thoughts i get :/ doesnt make sense

yes i luv some animals. Dog's and cat's I probably like the most. Since my dad owns two dogs. And I own a cat. All are very good natured in there own special ways.

I have some issues with the animal side of things.

Zoo member- involved with humans, teamwork. The only plus side is being with animals. I cannot take that job. I am no team player and I am certainly not helping out other humans.

Conservationist- work with animals, but also working with humanity. Idea scrapped.

Guess I have to get thinking.

Astronomer can be a very solitary job....I might look that up.

No I don't think it is.
Classic astronomy at night with a telsescope is, but now telescopes are f***ing HUGE, and require many people to work on them.

a grave keeper? erm, a skilled ceramics maker? have your own company/ business?

I'd like to be an animator for mainly films, but maybe tv, games, advertising or music videos!

animating. Looks fun..but when you think about it, it's sorta like drawing the same picture a little different day after day. That's what I think when it comes to animation.

It isn't, that's the old way of doing it, like a flip book, do you think that's how general grevious was animated?

I'd like to own my own business, dunno whta of but I'd just like to. Also designing products, like handhelds, consoles, posters, games etc. I also want to become an earning artist (i'd have to be unique and good for ppl to even take notice)

None of those probs wont even happen, but I'd just like the chance to have a go some time in life

I'm probably doing either Physics or computing at university. Probably astro-physics, but sometimes the courses aren't as simple as that. They're often astro and quantum and atmospheric and other stuff.

yeah i know what you mean, some times they come with another subject :/
